Chicken livers are a rich source of essential vitamins including Vitamin A and B12, and minerals like Iron and Phosphorus. However, as you would have already heard, they are quite high in cholesterol. Enjoyed in moderation, chicken livers are a great variety of proteins.

Grind to paste - chilli powder, turmeric, cumin seeds, ginger and garlic

2 Step

Cut the liver into peices . Wash and drain.

3 Step

Grind cloves with salt and vinegar to a paste. Apply the paste to the liver. Keep it aside for 15 minutes.

4 Step

Heat oil in a thick bottom pan. Add pepper pods and bay leaves.

5 Step

Add onions and fry till soft.

6 Step

Add the ground pasteand fry the onions for another minutes.

7 Step

Add marinated liver. Cover and and cook on slow gas until the liver is cooked.

8 Step

Sprinkle Lemon Juice and Garnish with corriander leaves , Serve Hot
